@barbecuesgalore @broilkingbbq My new Broil New Broil King Keg is not even a month old. The interior is peeling. I can't bbq if pieces of this stuff is going to fall on my food. What do I do now?

This is my third smoker that I've purchased and by far it is the best. The temperature is very easy to control and maintain heat perfectly. It is well built and designed. However one thing I will note is that I thought the keg was manufactured in North America when in fact it is made overseas. You have to read the broil king website closely to see that it is only their gas grills that are made in North America. I traditionally avoid purchasing overseas barbeques because I have found them to be inferior to north American made products. However I do find the keg to be very well built and designed.

We bought our Keg a 3 weeks ago and have used it every night. From low and slow to hot and fast, it does it all. Pork, chicken, ribs, fish, kebabs. We love the flavour of cooking over charcoal. Our propane Broil King Baron looks very lonely. Should have bought a Keg sooner.

Quite disapointed. I chose this company because it was said on the web page that it was made in north america. I tried to look for a made in China on the site, just to be sure but no mentions. I was then quite surprised to see a MADE IN CHINA on the box. Should have brought a Green Egg, at least, they are honest enough to say they are made in Mexico. I am ok with China, but not for this price! I work in manufacturing, designing products and it is a constant stuggle to have products made here... Oh well...

Who ever it was I talk to about where this Keg was made, They told U.S. and Canada, Now that I have it I see it was made in China, I am not happy, Ray

I originally bought this grill around 2009 when it was known as the Bubba Keg. That grill was AWESOME, but was in need of a few repairs. I could've bought a BGE or any other kamodo-style grill, but for the money, the BK Keg 5000 is the best value and it cooks just as great! The new ash drawer is a nice added feature, but unfortunately I am not able to use any of my old fans to control temps like I could with the old bottom vent. Other than that....BK 5000 is an AWESOME product!

Bought from a local dealer based on recommendation. Used a few different Kamodo grills in the past and did not want ceramic again. The Keg filled the bill perfectly. Total heat control, very efficient fuel usage (lump charcoal/wood/charcoal). Flavor...fun, good looking....what's not to like? I have a question about what comes with the grill...that part if mystifying. I've seen reference to racks for veggies etc and the mysterious grill tool that doubles as a vent tool. Are they options that are available?

Grill has worked great, however the three brackets holding the grill plate in place have started to disintigrate. Screws have rusted / fallen out due to heat and bracket no longer holds the weight of the grill plate. The brackets are part of the body of the grill - not sold separately.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
