This is our second home we installed this in. First house never an issue. This time the unit acts independently, have had two repair calls in a year. Broan warranty is excellent

We were very concern about selecting the right downdraft for our kitchen remodel. We wanted to get it right the first time. Marking a cutout onto our new quartz counter top I wanted to be sure we had made the right choice - we did. It works very well with our Wolf induction cooktop.

Works well but still dealing with some housing vibration noise. Unless you measure everything in the store, you will not realize how big this unit is and how much room it takes in the cabinet until you take it out of the box. It will work best with an extra deep or open back/open side cabinet. From the installation manual, I just was not sure I had the cutout right until I actually put the blower in place. (By the way - it is heavy.) Even after reading the install manual on electrical placement, I still ended up moving the plug in box.. Unless your gas line is already in place for the cooktop, wait to run it until you have the blower installed.

Works extremely well and consistently except one of the 6 burners does not function well. It sort of explodes heat. But the other five work perfectly.

For the price you pay they should include the remote button with the unit. $1600.00 dollars later I had to call and order the 62.00 remote button. My mother is 4' 5" and no way could she lean over the stove to turn on the unit. This is a no brainer if you are spending that amount of money include the little remote button. It was a hassle and held up our construction and counter tops for a week waiting on this part.

Bought this Broan downdraft as a replacement for an old Dacor downdraft, primarily because it fit. Pleasantly surprised, the quality seems to be quite good. Only wish I had the flow restrictor installed. With a very short exhaust, even low is a somewhat more than expected. Hope it lasts a long time.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
