We received this knife set as a wedding gift and it was hands down our favorite gift we received. The knives are so sharp and the set has every type of knife we need. We cook frequently and these are exactly what we needed.

The knives are amazingly sharp, feel durable but lightweight. However the block does not hold the knives well and it seems like it wasn't even made for this set because the width of the slots are too large amd the knives flop around inside.

The blades come very sharp and are extremely sturdy. However the set does not come with steak knives. those you have but separate.

I have had a chef's knife for over 10 years and it's still the best knife I have ever had, was so happy with the set, going to use them everyday.

We wanted top quality knives and obviously we got them with this set. They are comfortable to hold and the precision is great.

These knives are razor sharp and very high quality. With the chef knife I was able to slice tomato paper thin with little to no pressure. Also for the quality the tang om these knives are about twice as thick as my chicago cutlery showing they are meant to last.

Pros - My god don't cut yourself, these things are sharp. After cutting through the fatty end of a grilled strip steak like it wasn't even there. Seriously, they are sharp. Yes, we had a less than average set to begin with and that does affect the impression but these did not let my expectations down. - Quality - You get what you pay for, simple as that. When I handled the three I used, vegetable utility knife, bread and Santoku, you can just feel how well they are put together. The handle was more comfortable than I thought it would be and nicer looking in hand. Small cons -It would have been nice to have some variance in the block color. Sure, we can stain it something else but why not just offer it as an option?

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
