This is an ultimate 8" Pro bread knife, its serration blade is fantastic blade. It'll cut a really knife bread size as easy as a pie. his will cut a really nice bagel. a cake cutter too. A unique curved bolster supports the pinch grip, with thumb and index finger on the blade, for safe cutting and less fatigue. T

The slicing action of this bread knife is questionably good. The serrated teeth catch and cut right through the crustiest sourdough or glides thorugh the tenderest crumb of a sponge cake. And the quality of this knife is terrific, it is part of the Pro line, one of Zwilling's best. The steel will hold up for a lifetime and the knife requires no maintenance. It features an angled bolster, a new design that matches the grip of professional chef's. It keeps the thumb and forefinger in the correct position for maximum control. My personal preference is at 9 inches for a bread knife, otherwise this knife would have 5 stars.

The bread knife was included in our Pro set. It has gotten tons of miles. Great for breads, bagels, fruit, tomatoes... We have been so pleased with all of our Pro knives.

This is a great bread knife. This is one of my go-to knives in the kitchen. The serration is so much better than other serrated bread knives I've used. This does a beautiful job of cleanly slicing bread, fruit, meat without tearing or squishing. Also with the curved bolster, it makes it much more comfortable to grip the bread knife with ease and confidence.

The Pro Ultimate Bread knife is really the best one but if you don't want something that large then this 8" one will do just fine! The serrated blade is strong and will never need sharpening. The curved bolster and ergonomic handle will make your grip comfortable.

An essential piece of cutlery in any knife. This is the best bread knife I have ever used! Very little to no effort needed when cutting, just let the knife do the work. And not just for bread, or sandwiches... I use mine on tomatoes too.

Bought this knife for slicing bread, rolls, muffins, and cakes. It is too short for flattening cake layers in one cut which is the reason for the 4 stars. I will be purchasing a 10" bread knife in the near future. It has proven to be very useful for slicing meat, for example thin slices of chicken breast meat. It is very sharp and very well balanced. I am not an enthusiastic fan of serrated knives because of the inconvenience of maintaining the edge, I don't like seeing any shiny, rolled over spots on a knife edge. So far I have been able to use a steel to straighten the shiny points.

Solid in the hand, outstanding quality, razor sharp. Beautifully balanced. We have had other Henkels knives for 30 years and use them daily - they are as good as they day we received them as wedding presents.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
