This is one of my favorite knife in the kitchen. The edge is very fine (15 degrees), the curved bolster is made for a comfortable pinch grip and the weight of the knife not only decreases wrist issues but also does most of the work for you.

If you had to own one knife only, this would be it. It is one of the most durable knives I have ever owned. It handles bone work (taking apart a chicken) beautifully. It never rusts and in my house it may sit in the sink for a day, shh don't tell anyone. A great weight and that curved bolster is the best, it forces you to use the correct pinch grip.

You will love the grip, the rise at the bolster make this super easy to hold in a professional pinch grip. I love that I can use this blade fully and sharpen this blade when needed without stopping at the bolster.The heft and shape of this blade make it a perfect work horse in the kitchen. I use this knife for 80% of my work.

I love this knife. It is the epitome of the Zwilling brand. I love how the weight of the knife is perfectly balanced, and that the bolster has the perfect placement for the pinch grip hold. I love how this chef knife has an unique blade shape in that it's curved more than traditional German knives and that way I can rock, slice and chop with this knife super easily. It feels solid and with the ice hardening and forging aspects of this knife, it's going to last for a long time. A great knife to invest in

The Zwilling Pro chef's knife is my absolute favorite and the most frequently used knife in my kitchen. You'll never need another chef's knife than this one. The unique, curved bolster provides ultimate comfort and control when tackling that prep work.

I have several knives in my block but this is the knife I always reach for. Great weight. Very comfortable. After a knife skills class and being introduced to the pinch grip, it has made all the difference. The curved bolster makes the pich grip feel so natural. Very sharp. Great for any task.

This is the knife to buy if you want one great, quality, lifetime knife. The thoughtfulness in the design of this knife is worth pointing out. The angled bolster is perfect if you are a pinch-grip person. The arc of the blade is optimal for chiffonade, julienne. A little bit weighty, but comes in handy for butternut squash and watermelon, or for breaking down a chicken. Worth every penny.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
