I chose this wine cooler because of the ratings and size of storage. My older cooler started breaking down on me and I needed a new one rather quickly. Air and Water delivered it in two days with no extra charges. NewAir AW-281E is a perfect size and keeps my wine at the precise temperature that I like. It is quiet and attractive with it's blue light that turns on from the outside. The motor is quiet and has no loud condensor. I brew my own beer at home and the racks in this unit can be removed to fit a secondary bucket for fermenting pilsners and lagers at a cooler temperature. The price is right and I am very happy with this purchase.

Only complaint is out of the box the temp gauge is about 5 degrees off. However at over a week in it appears to be more accurate, within 2-3 degrees off.

While I belive this should be advertised as a 24 bottle wine cooler. It is very attractive, quiet, and seems to function pretty well.

The cooler arrived on time and well packaged. So far I am very pleased with the performance of the cooler. It is very quiet, looks great, and is maintaining consistent temperature. I did have to remove a rack to make room for my Pinot Noir bottles which was to be expected. Would definitely recommend this cooler to anyone that is looking for a value priced cooler that looks great and performs as described.

This unit is very well constructed, nothing feels cheap or janky. Runs super quiet, doesn't produce a lot of condensation. Temperature settings accurate to within a degree or two for me.

We bought this unit to replace another brand we bought from another retailer that was not working properly. We are so much happier with this unit. The shippment arrived very quickly. We follow the instruction to let the unit stand up straight for a few hrs prior to plugging in to the power. The design is nice. The noice level is low compare to some others. The temperature is consistant most of the time. Sometimes it goes lower than the setting by a few degrees. We haven't figured out why. But not too much of the jump. When we take wine out from certain racks, we have to pull the rack out. But that is not a big issue. Overall we'd recommend this unit.

Purchased this product two weeks ago for less than $250 after shipping. The cooler was packaged very well and no visible damage. After letting the unit sit for 12 hours i plugged it in and let it cool down to 55 for the following week. I then loaded it full of wine and tested the second week. I keep my house cool around 73 degrees so this unit easily keep the temp at 55. I did notice that if I turn off my home A/C and it warms up in my house that this unit will stay within 19-20 degrees of the local temp. So for instance, my house thermostat read 80 degrees and the unit would not cool past 60. So for the money I think this is a great unit but keep in mind it is only good for about a 20 degree drop from the ambient room temp. I like the fact this has a digital adjustment for temp and light on the outside front but like all of these units the single tiny light in the top doesnt do any good if you have the unit full. I wish manufacturers would look into recessed lighting down each side. The fan on this unit is noticeable but not distracting...would not be good in a quiet room, bedroom or tv area

I did alot of research and decided on this wine cellar. My boyfriend gave it to me last Christmas 2011. I waited one year to do the review. For the reasonable price, it works perfectly and temperature is spot on accurate. In Southern Calif summers can get past 100 degrees. Still the wine cellar worked perfectly. I have mostly red wines so overall the fit of several bottles is fine. Know that the larger chunky Moscato are other chunky types of bottles are a tight squeeze. I do not even hear it and it looks nice in my loft. Love the interior lighting adds a nice effect. Highly recommend

We shopped many sites before buying this wine cooler. It had all the features we were looking for and attractive looking in our kitchen. The stainless steel matched our appliances. We did remove one of the lower shelves to accommodate large bottles but still have plenty of room for others. It does have a slight hum but not annoying. Very pleased with product and would recommend.

This is my first wine cooler and first purchase from Air and Water. I searched many stores (in person and online) and finally decided on the NewAir AW-281E. First, shopping with Air and Water was extremely easy and the the unit arrived in four days much to my delight. Regarding the unit itself, the reviews were very good and it has lived up to the expectation! The design is very sleek and modern and the blue LED inside is very cool. For functionality, I have all my french wines in this cooler and with the bottles all at the same temperature it is easy to hold that temperature inside the cooler. Although the unit is stored in the basement, when I am nearby I can barely hear it unless I am trying to. The only downside is that the pull out shelving could have been designed a little better to allow for smooth operation; sometimes you have to give them a little force to go back in.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
