I like everything about the pan except the finish- wish it was a matte finish so it didn't show water spots so easily.

We really love using these pans. They are our go to cookware for most everything now. The food cooks evenly, the pans are easy to clean. Oh yes and the stainless steel polish finish locks super professional.

I was not thinking about writing a review, but since I've read some other people's reviews, I thought I would add mine. I bought two 2qt. All Clad sauce pans about three years ago. I love the look of these pots so much, as well as how they feel in use. So far the only thing I've used this pot for is boiling water. A couple of times, the water boiled dry and the pot turned horribly black, inside and out, with horrible raised black deformations. The pot was impossible to clean, even with Bartender's Helper and vinegar and baking soda. This type of discoloration has never happened in older cheaper pots that I've owned. The discoloration seems to be very deep into the metal, obviously since it distorted the metal as well. I was told I shouldn't use the pot anymore. Though the water boiled dry, it was not left that long in that condition, and should not have led to such horrible discoloration of the pot and distortions in the metal. I am very disappointed in these pots and frustrated with the long term quality.

Wonderful addition to any cookware! For years I went nonstick but stainless is SO much healthier! If one follows directions for stainless steel it CAN be nonstick!!

On my first use of my 3 qt. All Clad pot, I warmed up some soup. The pan worked well. My only complaint is that the bottom of the inside pan changed color. Washing would not change it back to it's original color. I do not think this will affect the pan, but it is weird to have a pan look new only until you use it the first time.

We also regret to hear that you are experiencing some difficulties cleaning your cookware. Some stains and food remains may take more care to remove. For discoloration, like blue or rainbow coloring like you have experienced, we recommend wiping the sauce pan with a sponge or soft cloth and white vinegar. Then, clean your pan in warm soapy water. If you are still experiencing issues removing the stain, we recommend using a nonabrasive, non-chlorine cleanser, like All-Clad cookware cleaner, Bar Keeper's Friend, or Bon Ami. When using these cleaners, form a paste with a small amount of water. Apply the paste using a soft cloth or sponge, rubbing in a circular motion. Then, rinse with warm water and dry immediately. These tactics should clean your sauce pan and make it look brand new. These stains will not affect the cookware's performance. When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
