Kamado Joe Fire Starters - 24-Piece Box - KJ-FS

I use the 1050 about 3 times a week. I smoke and grill regularly. I have already replaced the fire box plates and purchased after market equipment to upgrade this grill. Cleaning is a bit of a hassle and the drip pan set up is kind of lacking. Overall, this is a great grill/smoker, I will recommend it to anyone; it has a few flaws that that stop it from being 5 star.

This cover is durable and made with material that I trust to protect smoker but it faded to a very dull gray within 2 months of having it.

I introduced myself to smoking after watching a video on the gravity series. I love smoked meats and wanted to save money on brisket and ribs... Restaurants charge for a plate, what I can pay for a whole brisket. This smoker has impressed me tremendously. I've had pellet smoked meat and wasn't a fan, I prefer a more natural smoke flavor. There has been a lot of trail and error with few errors and none that resulted in poorly cooked food. I recommend a Gravity Series to everyone that wants a smoker or is having difficulties with their current smokers.

Gone are the days when you wasted a ton of charcoal on 10 chicken breasts. I never would have thought this was possible. I paired the phone app with my 1050 and sit inside and monitor the sweet smokey feast being cooked to my down home desires. I have never done much more than burgers and brats on a gas grill, until now. Briskets, steaks, burgers, chicken, and even bacon cooked and smoked to perfection on this baby! I love this thing 2 years in now, and would gladly spend the money on another one!

Purchased this grill over 2 years ago and have had no issues. Works well as an everyday grill or long smokes.

The cover is built with great materials. I have had it over 2 years and it has not faded or ripped.

I have tried several fire starters but Masterbuilt Fire Starters are the best. They light fast on my Masterbuilt smoker and I also use them on my grill. They work great.

I bought this grill to replace a pellet grill I had. I did some research on different brands, and I kept coming back to Masterbuilt. It was easy to assemble. As soon as I assembled it, I did the I initial burn. The following morning I was up by 3am and had a brisket on the smoker. It was the best brisket cook I have done at that time. The wood flavor was outstanding. I have since smoked all kinds of cuts of meat, chicken, grilled burgers and anything you can think of. I love the smoker. It is a perfect size for the wife and I. I purchased another one and gave it to my son. Keep up the great job making this smoker. I will definitely buy more products from Masterbuilt. This grill is for everyone, from beginner to professional. I can control the temperature, internal meat temps from the 4 probes, and co trip the timer. I can leave and set the temp for whatever I need it to be. I can add charcoal with ease as well. This is literally the last grill you will ever need to buy as it's the Bentley of grills/smokers. Don't think twice, just treat yourself to the best smoking experience possible.
