Been grilling/smoking on my 1050 gravity series and I can't get enough of it. I love the hopper on this thing, I usually do a 50/50 blend of coal and wood. The gravity series smokers are versatile, sleek, and packs a punch with flavor compared to you old borning pellet smoker.

I got this item for Christmas 2 years ago and love it and highly recommend it.

I purchased a Masterbuilt 1050, and it was the best investment I've ever made. I no longer have to spend long hours awake smoking briskets. Now, I can run errands and go to stores with my wife, confident that my Masterbuilt will maintain its temperature and continue cooking my food while I'm away. I highly recommend purchasing a Masterbuilt to anyone I know.

I bought back in April and I have fallen in love with it. I have replaced my gas grill with this and it fits in nicely with my other pellet smokers. I have always wanted a charcoal grill but I did not want the hassle of maintaining the coals. This grill certainly took that barrier of entry away for me. I can just start it up and it will maintain temp pretty accurately. It does not feel cheaply made and it seems like it will hold up. The only issue I've noted is if I use more lump than briquette, it has a hard time starting up. I've had to light it several times and it had a bit of a learning curve. But with briquettes it's very easy and lights first time. I've already been talking my friends into getting this.

Controller and lid thermometer failed after the second cook. Warranty was not easy and it'll be three months for a new controller as it's on back order. Would not recommend.

This is the most versatile and complete grill, period. Their charcoal tower is an innovation that deserves to be recognized. It is safe and efficient. My condo does allow open flame grills, and this was the best way to keep charcoal in my life. It requires good maintenance, but it is worth the time investment to keep it clean.

The Masterbuilt 800 is an amazing grilling machine! There is a small learning curve, but if you consistently follow the directions, it works like a charm. By itself, it imparts a delicious charcoal flavor. Add chunks or chips and you're bringing smoke to the game. The two grill racks increases the cooking area, so you can grill a weekend's worth of food in an afternoon. Worried about overcooking? This grill will hold its cooking temp within one or two degrees of where you set it, and probe lets you monitor internal temps. The app ties the whole deal together and makes you The Grill Master.

I used an offset smoker for about 40 years my wife bought me the gravity fed smoker as a gift at first. I wanted no part of it then gave it a try turned out to be the best smoker I ever used. I am amazed at how easy it is to use how great it maintains temperature. I will never go back to any other smoker. It is insane on how well it works and how much you could do with it. I love it.

I've done 100 reviews and look for over a year. And I'm here to tell you this is one of the best BBQ that money can buy the quality and how it built you will never regret buying a machine like this.
