Lovely dutch oven. The oval shape is ideal if you bake bread in it (that's the main reason I bought it). Also great for deep frying - lots of space, and the cast iron keeps the oil hot.

It's positively wonderful, this pot. My sourdough bread has taken off! I have used it for pulled pork, heavenly and for braised chicken, incredible. It won't disappoint. And, it's so easy to clean! Love it.

This works great for longer sourdough loaves (rather than the round ones). I love how easy cleanup is with the enameled surface. I've burned a loaf to the pot (parchment paper wasn't quite long enough) and it still came off after soaking for a while. Sourdough loaves come out great! Price is pretty good, too.

Cuisinart supports their warranty. This is a great product. If it ever wears out, they will replace it.

Disappointed. The Dutch oven is an absolute perfect size. The color is lovely. However I'm super disappointed! The lid does not fit the base and it does not create an airtight seal it allows steam to escape it kind of defeats the purpose of having a Dutch oven. When I registered my product I emailed Cuisinart and have not heard anything back that was weeks ago. I love the weight of this item and perhaps if it had a correctly fitting lid I might feel differently however it just wobbles I've tried to turn it from one side to the other and it doesn't make a difference.

I've wanted one of these for a number of years. My husband gifted me one at Christmas. It's perfect in the oven or on the stove top! Clean up is a cinch. Who could want more in a Dutch oven?

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
