Bought this while it was still warm here in the NYC suburbs but we knew the chill that was coming. Boy, are we glad we did! Ran into a little bit a trouble assembling it but that was totally my fault. The phone reps walked me through the correct assembly and I was good. Probably would have taken about an hour because I worked alone. Anyway, it has certainly extended our patio use which made it easy to socially distance with friends. It should add about a couple of months of use in the fall and spring and that makes it well worth it. Of course, we hope to use this for many years to come long after the pandemic. Your product is well-manufactured out of quality material. I certainly paid more than I would have for one of those "Basics" heaters but a friend of mine had to send his back because it was so poorly made.

Enjoying the heat output from this heater. Assembly was straightforward, with all parts fitting together well. The heating elements seem to be good quality and work well. Slight angle to the unit requiring shim under one edge, but not sure if this is in vertical or base. After more than about 4 hours of constant use on high, the gas expansion in the propane tank causes it to freeze up. We'll see if putting the tank in a container of water delays this. Lighter than I expected, but very stable.

I have 2 of these heaters and just purchased 3 more! Best heaters on the market.

Assembled in about 45 minutes, very easy, no issues. Can't wait to fire it up this weekend!

This is an excellent heater. I bought it so we could continue seeing friends outside once the temperature drops. It gives off enough warmth for a group of 4. I also got the large saucer top and will put that on when it gets colder - this weekend. Note about assembly: I didn't assemble it myself. But a friend did and reports it's straightforward. Well constructed. I recommended it to 2 friends who agree with me.

We were excited to receive our patio heaters last week. Setup took less than 45 minutes (each). Directions were clear and easy to follow. We live in a high wind environment so we hope the units hold up and continue to perform for years to come.

After everywhere was sold out of these, my wife decided we should buy a patio heater... So I researched and found Fire Sense consistently has amazing reviews. I watched the site and after a few days found 2 of these in stock. Bought one for me and one for my neighbor. Took a few days to ship out but once I got them, set up was pretty easy. Took me a bit over an hour between unboxing and peeling off the paper. I also did it by myself: just stood on a step stool to screw in the reflector. I had a chance to use it for an hour or so Saturday afternoon while the kids went out trick or treating and it throws some good heat. A friend had an idea that I am going to try: sticking a fan behind the heater and run it on low to direct the heat to where we will be sitting.

I had been shopping for a while for a Patio Heater & decided to purchase one from Fire Sense. This model jumped right out at me, based on it's commercial rating & SS finish. I used it for the 1st time last nite & couldn't be happier with it's performance.

After battling a cheap patio heater for years, I threw it away & decided to spend a little extra money for a quality product. So far it has been money well spent. Compared to stainless heaters at Home Depot or Lowes, there is no comparison. The components are made of a much heavier gauge of steel. My only complaint is the film that covered the propane tank surround. I don't know if my heater sat in a hot warehouse or something too long, but it took at least an hour to get it off & it still left a lot of residue on the stainless steel. Still working on getting that shined up! The film on the deflector is different & peeled off in seconds. Nice not to have to light a pilot light & hold the button in for 2 minutes!
