I was hoping that this heater would allow our family to remain a little warmer as we socially distanced in our back yard without using a propane heater= greenhouse gases (our electric is 100% renewable). In fairness I understand that 1500w is the key limitation for a plug in heater, unfortunately this is more like the buffet roast beef heater and less like an area heater, you'll need to drop this low to a person's head in order to garner any warming effect. Maybe this will work better in a quasi-enclosed space.

we enjoy sitting on the porch, even in the cold weather, staying 6 feet apart. assembly was easy and its easy to maneuver and set up

It was very difficult to see any detail in the pictures of the instructions and there was not much detail given in the written instructions. The instructions spent pages on repeating safety guidelines, but couldn't offer clear basic assembly instructions. Also not everything screwed together easily based on the way it was machined.

During the pandemic we have been good about only entertaining outside and in small groups. As winter, even here in CA, has approached, we needed a way to stay outside comfortably. This IR heater has done the trick. Reasonably easy to assemble and very easy to move around.

It went together fine , if heated well and it was a smaller profile than those large dome ones. However it was so bright it looked like a construction light on my lovely patio at night. By the way I am writing this in 2020 but I bought it 4 years ago and left it when I sold that home. So perhaps there is now a "low" setting". But doubt it as trade off with heat!

This heater is a perfect solution to outdoor dining during the cool winter months. It provides a pertest envelope of heat and being on wheels is easy to move around our backyard.

Assembly was a challenge, as others have noted. We purchased two units to heat our patio (in fall) and garage (in winter) so we can have well-ventilated socially-distanced dining with family and friends. Everyone appreciates the heat these put off.

Provides enough warmth to allow us to continue to use our patio in Chicago. Hoping to be able to use them for Thanksgiving so the family can be together! Was as described, however, requires patience in putting together if you are not particularly handy.

The only problem putting it together is the wiring plug should be about 12" longer so when you connect it between the two poles you have a little wiggle room. We love the heater and look forward to coffee on the patio this winter.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
