The Aurora A790I built-in natural gas grill features 792 square inches of premium cooking space wrapped in a stylish, modern package that is built to last. It features 304 stainless steel construction for lasting quality, and sleek styling with a seamless control panel that comes with comfort touch control knobs and LED backlighting. The double walled, spring assisted hood opens 90 degrees for easier access and more efficient exhaust. It features an integrated analog thermometer with an angled bezel for easier viewing. Inside, this grill features three cast stainless steel E-burners, made with 1/4-inch thick walls and precision porting, that combine for 90,000 BTUs. Reliable hot surface ignition always lights your burners where others might fail. Flash tubes serve as a backup. Flavor grids sit above the burners to spread heat evenly and protect the burners from debris and grease. These flavor grids have attached heat zone separators, allowing you to create independent heat zones at the surface of the grill for varied cooking options. The cooking surface consists of the patented Diamond Sear cooking grids. These grids feature a matte, non-stick surface, and a trapezoidal shape that efficiently transfers heat from the burner to the wide surface of the cooking grids. The warming rack above can be adjusted and moved out of the way when not in use. For night time grilling, the interior of the grill is lit by two halogen lights. A disposable drip tray system makes cleanup a breeze and reduces the chance of grease flareups. Solid, raised hangers line the sides and back of the grill for a seamless look when placed into a counter top or island. A 120 VAC power source is required for ignition, as well as for the lighting functions. With many of the same premium features as the Echelon series of grills, the Aurora series from Fire Magic is the perfect centerpiece for your luxury outdoor kitchen.

Fire Magic Warrants this product against defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use and conditions for the following periods: Cast stainless steel burners, stainless steel cooking grids, and stainless steel housing for the lifetime of the user; brass valves, inner liners, manifold assemblies, porcelain housings, and backburner assemblies (excluding ignition parts) for fifteen (15) years; flavor grids and infrared burners on the grill for five (5) years; side burners and other Fire Magic grill components (excluding ignition and electronic parts) for three (3) years; and ignition systems (except batteries), electronic components (including lights and thermometers), and grill accessories for one (1) year. Labor is included for two (2) years up to $120.

The American-built Aurora series has welded stainless steel construction for durability, but it also catches the eye with its clean appearance and “tear-drop” double-lined hood. Just like the more expensive Echelon series, this grill features an advanced “hot surface” ignition to make lighting a snap. Fire Magic’s true width cooking grids offer some of the largest cooking areas by square inch in their size classes, so you can cook more food at once. To compare the cooking grid size for yourself, learn about Fire Magic Advantages & Benefits. Fire Magic also has a terrific "hot surface" ignition which makes lighting the grill a snap. It has a backup system just in case the hot ignition fails, although this rarely happens. It's easy to light the grill by placing a lighter near a small tube underneath the cooking grid.The 304-grade stainless steel, trapezoid shaped Diamond Sear cooking grids offer more surface area than traditional round cooking grids and are now standard with the Aurora grills. I also like that it has a backup system in case the hot ignition fails, and it's easy to light the grill by placing a lighter near a small tube underneath the cooking grid. It also has an angled front control panel for ease of use. The Aurora is available with a digital thermometer with meat probe or an analog thermometer. I really like the Aurora analog from a durability perspective - there's simply almost nothing that can wear out! Another nice feature Fire Magic includes is a spring-assisted lid for easy opening and closing of the lid. Like the Echelon Diamond series, the Aurora also has LED backlighting knobs on the control panel that turn from blue to red when increasing the heat.
Fire Magic also includes the same burners found on their more expensive grills. The cast burners are a unique "E-shape", which means they have more burner ports than typical cast burners which run straight front to back. Inside the grill, heavy-duty perforated stainless steel flavor grids help keep grease away from the burners and the cooking grids are constructed with quality 304-grade stainless steel for additional durability.
The warranty offered by Fire Magic is simply one of the best. Aurora’s warranty is admirable and basically what you should expect from a premium gas grill company. Stainless steel components have a lifetime warranty (except for the flavor grids-5 years), infrared burners have five years, and the valves are covered for 15 years.
Thing To Consider:
The grill is designed with heat zones, which provide a hot zone across the back, while the front corner zones are slightly cooler. This is something to consider if you are looking for a grill with an even heat cooking surface, however, some customers like this feature and use it to shift food around on the grill.
