Ipassgas Idaho | ★★★★★ ★★★★★ 5.0 This grill rocks!I've had the Woodwind wifi 36 for over a month now. I've done at least 15 cooks. Ribs, ham, pork loin, pizza, burgers, brats, steaks, chicken whole, quarters, wings, pork chops, etc! I haven't done a brisket yet, but that'll be this weekend for Memorial Day. The wifi connection works great. Ability to change smoke level is also a great feature. I've compared the temp probes against my meater probes as well as a Maverick temp monitor and the temp probes are spot on. The "set" temp of the grill is also very consistent with where you set it. Maintains temp well also. The slide and sear feature works great as well. Better than the pit boss slide and sear feature. I was skeptical on the slide and sear because you are counting on the flame to come up through the vents on the grill plate. The flames do come through the vents, but it also creates a larger "hot spot" to sear than the pit boss. OUTSTANDING! The pellet dump is also a great feature. Lots of my friends have Traegers and i can easily say this grill is every bit as good as the Timberiine 1300. Better in my opinion and 1/2 the cost. I also have the Sidekick. Great bonus. I've done a couple breakfasts on the griddle. It's not huge, but a great small flat top for any meal for my family of 5. I have the grill box for the sidekick and it works great too. I've seared steaks in there instead of on the grill as a comparison, and both work great. I do have the artisan pizza oven for the sidekick, but haven't tried it yet. I will this week. Bottom line, you can't go wrong with this beautiful grill. I absolutely love it! Camp Chef has on outstanding reputation and their customer service gets great reviews. I haven't needed customer service, but from what I've read from others, they are great. If you're considering this grill, consider no more. Buy it! You won't regret it. | Was This Helpful? |

DerekT Dallas, TX Verified Purchaser ![]() | ★★★★★ ★★★★★ 5.0 Hard to describe how good this thing isI got the woodwind 36 a few months ago. I'm in Texas and have been smoking all manner of meats for a long time...webers, offset smokers, and even gas grills (when I used to live in an apartment, please don't tell them!) - this thing has completely blown away my expectations. My Brother-in-Law and Father-in-Law both have Traegers, and there are so many upgrades in the Camp Chef vs. the Traeger that when it comes time to replace their smoker they'll definitely be making the switch. The meat probes are super helpful, the ash clean out is much better designed, and the ability to direct heat sear solves the problem of "how do I get a good crust on this steak". My brother and father (not the in-laws) have both picked up Woodwinds now (the 24) and love them. I'd say go bigger if you can though...no one ever regrets having more space on a smoker and the extra cost spread out over the many years of using it is well worth the cost. | Was This Helpful? |

Question: Is this set up for Natural Gas or Propane? Is there a conversion kit for Natural Gas? I know on my BBQ Grill I had to change my burners over when I went from Propane to NG.
Thanks Was This Helpful? Answer: Hi Mike. This Sidekick burner is set up for propane. Camp Chef does make a conversion kit, though they do require some manual modifications on the user's end. Asked by MikeAnswered by Joey |
Question: Will the camp chef pellet grill cover work with this attached? Was This Helpful? Answer: Hi Franklin, yes, the cover will still fit with the Sidekick attached! Asked by FranklinAnswered by Rosa |

Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we’ve all come to expect for small parcels, so it’s important that you’re prepared and understand what’s required of you well before delivery day.
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can’t be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we’ve only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don’t require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren’t required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you’re home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you’re out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
Anything under $49 ships at one low price. If your order increases, your shipping stays the same!
Return all new, unused, and unassembled items in their original packaging, and we'll give you a full refund minus the cost of the original AND return shipping.
Most companies charge a restocking fee. We just don't do business that way.
