The Skinny:
Superior heat retention; even cooking; lightest kamado on the market; fuel efficient; innovative design; stylish features.

Things To Love:
The Caliber Pro Kamado offers a one-of-a-kind double layer of 304 grade stainless steel, enclosing a layer of ceramic insulation for excellent heat retention and even heat distribution. The use of stainless steel not only offers an attractive look and supreme durability, but it also weighs significantly less than dense ceramic, making the Caliber Pro the lightest kamado on the market. The unique flue design re-circulates heat inside of the grill, resulting in more efficient cooking, meaning you can use less charcoal compared to typical ceramic grills.

At almost 400 sq. inches, this grill has a larger cooking surface than most large kamados, and the grilling grate is hinged so that you can easily add wood or charcoal while cooking. While most other kamado grills use a felt lid gasket, the Caliber Pro uses a high temperature fiberglass woven cable with a stainless steel bulb, which is much more durable.

The Caliber Pro offers multiple style options to allow you to choose a grill look that matches your personality. You can choose a grill body that is turquoise, terra cotta, red, stainless steel or black and a handle and side table that is either wood or stainless steel. Because the inside of the grill is stainless steel, cleaning is easy: simply wipe it down with an ‘easy-off’ type oven cleaner and call it a day. One final thing to love is the lifetime warranty on all of the Caliber Pro's stainless steel parts.

Things To Consider:
Currently, this grill is only offered in one size, which is pretty large at 22-inches, so if you are looking for a smaller grill, you may need to look at brands that offer multiple size options. Also, this grill is in the upper tier of the price range; most kamado grills that are similarly priced come with a cart that includes doors and drawers, or full tables.
