The Broil King Regal S 590 PRO IR Propane Gas Grill is a wonderful addition to your outdoor kitchen. This 304 stainless steel grill has a total of 875 sq. inches of cooking area perfect for small or large gatherings. The five stainless steel Dual-Tube burners provide an astounding 55,000 BTUs of grilling power allowing you to cook your food to succulent perfection. The five stainless steel cooking grids and the Flav-R-Wave cooking system flame tamers yield long-lasting durability. The Linear-Flow control knobs with 180 degree sensi-touch control are blue LED illuminated and grant you with precision temperature control which you can monitor with the Deluxe Accu-Temp analog thermometer in the grill lid. Ignite the grill with the Sure-Lite electronic dual-electrode ignition systems for easy, no hassle, lighting. Interior components are zinc coated for improved rust resistance. The Regal S 590 PRO IR comes with a warming rack, a 10,000 BTU Infrared side burner, and a rotisserie kit that utilizes the built-in 15,000 BTU rear rotisserie burner. The enclosed stainless steel cabinet base features two stainless steel cabinet doors and stainless steel shelves with cast aluminum condiment bins. It includes heavy-duty locking, swivel casters and a pull-out tank drawer for easy access to your tank.

Broil King offers a limited lifetime warranty on the cookbox (which includes lid, control panel & housing). The stainless steel Dual-Tube burners, Flav-R-Wave cooking system, and rear rotisserie burner are warrantied against defects in materials and workmanship for fifteen (15) years. All remaining parts and paint are warrantied for two (2) years. Labor not included.

 | Reliable, heats up fast & retains heat a long timeWe have a similar Napoleon at the city house, and decided to try the Broil King on recommendation from a friend for the country house. We love it and would recommend this Broil King model to any friend. It heats up quickly, is used year round and without fail even in cold winter months. The rotisserie option is great for roasts too, don't limit yourself to chickens. We did two large roast beefs on it for Christmas and they were divine. My only complaint, is that the grease pan catcher should be deeper. I did encounter one issue with propane not being used to capacity. I called the company, and it was an issue that incured by a faulty tank and we had to 'reset' the barbq. The support tech walked me through it, and it was resolved within 15 mins. | Amazing heat and grills!The Regal S590 Pro is turning out to be my favorite purchase of the year. There are a lot of choices in this price range, and I am glad Broil King is on my deck right now. The stainless grills are wide, really easy to keep clean, and leave amazing grill marks. The BBQ overall has so much heat I've had to re-learn how to cook, the control over heat is really good and resists windy days with ease. The stainless steel used stands up well but, like any outdoor appliance, use a cover on it! Help yourself to keep your investment looking nice ... use a cover! I love it !My last BBQ was bought in 1985. It was built like a Sherman Tank. But the "Bowtie" burner kept breaking. I finally bit the bullet and bought The Regal S 590 Pro 5 burner BBQ. I find that it uses less gas, has more cooking room and is a great accent on my back patio. It has a rotisserie attachment which I will make use of. My old BBQ served me for 35 years. I have come into Present Time with my new BBQ. I can now cook for many more people with the larger cooking surface. Also, cooking time is greatly reduced. | Was This Helpful? | |

| Whats not to love ?As I said whats not to love ? The quality, the looks or the over all grilling experience. I bought the Regal 590 IR about a month ago. Most dealers said on that model there was 2 to 4 week wait. The vendor (Acme Tool ) said in stock and shipped within 3 to 5 days. And true to their word 3 days later I received a call from the shipper. First, it was on a pallet and well packed . Other than the cookbox w/ manifold it was completely disassembled and with only pictures for direction there were a few challenges, the average weekend warrior might have had to scratch his head once or twice. In total it took me about four and a half hours with a few glitches and alas my new grill was ready for testing. I will say the design, well thought out and materials better than most I've seen. Ok, I love it. I have had seven or eight grills in my life. The last one was a MembersMark 5 burner stainless with all the bells and whistles. In less than a year I gave it away, between flair ups and rust it was a big disappointment and I had several of those back to when they were Bakers and Chefs. So I in 2008 I bought a Weber S470 and thought this will be my last grill. I watched a review on a Weber vs a Napoleon and the Broil King and the guy brought in the Broil King last because of the two piece cook box. Well I'm here to tell you the cookbox on my Weber was the first thing to rot and everything internal collapsed from there. A thousand dollars to repair and some parts not available anymore I wasn't going to risk it. I wanted a quality grill. Made in America,( by the way Webers,are outsourced) or at least north America so it came down to Napoleon and Broil King. After research, reading reviews I decided on Broil King. So far I have been limited to a few burgers,dogs and steaks but being a commonsewer of grilled foods I have no doubt this grill will serve all my grilling needs. In accessories I have purchased the handle light with timer. Works great . Very happy with purchase and look forward to years of great outdoor bbq. Things We Love:
Broil King's Regal and Imperial Series Gas Grills are top of the line for Broil King, especially the Imperial. They are a great value and are loaded with many great features. Some of my favorites include: control knob lights that are great for night time entertaining, storage shelves inside the cart, tool hooks with side shelf bins, and pull out tank drawers for the propane models. The Imperial Series also feature a pull out drawer in the side shelves, as well as interior oven lights.
I really like the Stainless Steel Dual Tube Burners. This Dual Tube design creates an efficient double row of flame, powered by a high BTU, which results in solid, high heat output. The Regal Series comes in 4, 5, and 6 burner configurations, and the Imperial Series comes in 5 and 6 burner configurations.
The Regal and Imperial Series also feature the Broil King Stainless Steel Flav-R-Wave flame tamers which are great. Above the Flav-R-Wave's, I love the heavy gauge, 9mm Stainless Steel thick and durable cooking grids found on the Regal Series. The Imperial Series cooking grids are even better and tougher, made of reversible Cast Stainless Steel. These reversible grids create steakhouse sear marks on one side, and the other side is grooved to capture juices for continuous basting.
I love that these grills come with a side burner and rotisserie. The side burner is perfect for creating mouth-watering side dishes, soups, or sauces while you grill. The powerful 15,000 BTU Stainless Steel Rotisserie Burner comes complete with a premium spit rod and motor, which delivers consistent even heat for excellent cooking results. The side burner isn't available on the Regal S420, and the rear burner isn't available on the Regal S420 & S440.
From a durability perspective I like the Stainless Steel Cook box with cast aluminum end caps, backed by a limited lifetime warranty. The Regal XLS and the Imperial XLS feature two independent stainless steel cook boxes that offer the ability to sear in one oven, while cooking at different temperatures in the other oven.
Things To Consider:
While the limited lifetime warranty on the cook box is great, the warranty on the remaining grill components is lower than several other competitors. Also note there is no ceramic infrared sear burner available.
