This is a nicely made grill for the most part with lots of great features and good construction, with one major flaw: the drip tray fills up whenever it rains. I've seen others with the same complaint. My grill is not under a covered roof and this is a major problem. I have heavy duty silicone around the grill's lip on the countertop, and it doesn't seem to make a difference. When it rains, the drip tray fills up. I can't figure out how that much water is getting in. I'd expect a little, that's normal, but somehow it collects so much water it's like it's open to the sky. Then it's impossible to get the water out of a completely full drip tray without sloshing dirty greasy water all over your patio (and yourself). Completely unacceptably in a grill this expensive.

I've owned the built-in version of this for a little over a year now and love it! This has all the features of many high-end grills without the high-end price. This grill gets very hot in standard configuration. I bought the infrared burner option with it as I wanted to make sure I could sear, and one year later it has never been installed! The grill gets hot enough on its own that there is no reason to use an infrared burner. I use it a couple of times per week, and no problems at all. It ignites easily and heats up in less than 15 minutes. Very easy to clean as well.

Top notch! This grill is the real deal. Industrial construction, even heat, great range of temperatures, and a cool look… who could ask for more? You'll love your purchase!

I was pleased at the professional packaging. The two shipping boxes were very well designed and protected the grill and stand with double and triple wall cardboard construction as well as the generous use of honeycomb and foam panels to protect and immobilize the components inside. This is by far the best packaging I have seen from any product coming out of China. Heavy stainless steel construction is impressive and what I expected for a grill in this price range. I'm still learning how to use the grill as the one it replaced wasn't as hot and the burners ran side-to-side rather than front-to-back. Overall very happy with grill construction and performance. The disappointments are few, but required additional effort to minimize their impact. First, there is a large rectangular opening across the back of the unit. Not only does this make the grill look unfinished, but the sheetmetal edge is quite sharp and could present a hazard to young children. The opening also allows entry of blown leaves and critters into the the grill cabinet. There are two screw slots on the lower edge of the opening implying to me that there was some sort of closure intended for this opening. The power cord exits the unit from the rear right and is too short unless the space for the grill is designed to accommodate this with a receptacle on the immediate right side or centered on the unit. Interestingly, the rotisserie motor is mounted on the left side of the grill. A better design would have placed the grill and rotisserie power cords on the same side of the unit. I needed to purchase an exterior rated power strip to accommodate my existing receptacle to the left of the grill placement. My final suggestion is that a filler plate be offered to be put in place of the propane tank opening. I use my home's propane supply and therefore would like to use that cabinet space for other purposes. Blown leaves and critters otherwise have access to this space. Knob lights don't indicate position.

Solid grill. Cooks great. Some temperature variance from back to front, but contacted customer service and they said it is normal. Cooks a thick rib-eye in 5 minutes to perfect medium rare. Haven't used the rotisserie yet but can't wait. A little tedious to put together but not that bad. Love the lighting and storage. Only thing that has been a minor problem are the shelves. You can have them up or down, but it's not a simple process. Again...minor issue. Can't say enough about their customer service. They're great. Dealt with Ashley and she was awesome

Purchased 34" Professional with Cart. Was delivered by truck to Southern California in about a week. Fair warning - it comes in two very large, heavy, boxes on a pallet. The box with the grill weighs over 300 lbs. You will need at least a couple people to help you get it to its final location. Putting the cart and grill together is relatively simple. I did it myself (with help from my wife lifting the bbq onto the cart) in about two hours. Probably the most time is spent removing the protective plastic that is adhered to the stainless all over the cart parts. The assembly instructions are pretty weak - but luckily there isn't much to do. One word of advice - lay out all the bolts at the beginning into four different piles by size, largest to smallest. The directions will tell you to "use the third largest bolt", so having them already separated by size will be helpful. My set was missing one bolt for attaching the heavy duty caster wheels - no biggie, I just used three instead of four bolts on one of the casters. Another word to the wise, if you order the natural gas version you also need to purchase the gas hose. Note that the hose has 1/2" hardware. If you currently have a Weber or other natural gas grill, you likely have 3/8" connectors. Be prepared to make a trip to the hardware store for new brass fittings. You may need to call a plumber to do this if you're not particularly handy or your local codes require it. One other thing they don't tell you - in order to use the interior and exterior lights you need to plug an included transformer into an electrical socket. Keep that in mind when choosing a location for your grill. Once the grill and cart are put together, check your gas connections with a little soapy water. Mine were fine. It took a few tries to get the bbq fired up as the gas filled the lines, but after that it worked like a charm.

Workmanship: It is very durable and built to professional standards. It has the weight to match, so make sure you have help when putting this beast together. All the parts are robust and ooze commercial cooking appliance. I love the halogen and LED lights, polished edges, soft close drawers, and large side shelves. I wish the inside door had hooks for grilling tools. Assembly of the cart and grill was straightforward and not challenging. Burner ignition is extremely reliable except the ceramic rotisserie and optional infrared sear burner. These light on the first attempt maybe 50% of the time. Certainly not a deal breaker but something to keep in mind. I have not had any of the issues that a few people mentioned keeping burners lit in the wind. Cooking Performance: The temperature range is great. I have been able to cook on low heat for toasting buns, shrimp, and smoking ribs all the way up to scorching heat for steaks. Everything has come out perfect. It does take time to get used to the high temperatures this grill can produce. I would say cooking is very even with only minor variations. I have never had a grill with heat zone dividers, and their performance exceeded my expectations. Customer Service: BBQ guys and Blaze are both fantastic. You'll have no issues here. Conclusion: I would buy this grill again. The higher heat H style burners and integrated lights are what tipped the scales for me over buying Blaze's entry level grills. DCS and Lynx are the more expensive competitors I was considering. These companies add a few features, but the two biggies are ceramic flame tamers instead of stainless steel to provide more even cooking, and increased maximum BTU output from 18,000 on the Blaze Professional to 24,000 on the DCS and Lynx. The Blaze Professional does not struggle to provide high heat and cooks evenly. I'm glad I did not stretch my budget further to go with DCS or Lynx.

I've had this grill for over a year. Cooks beautifully but has issues getting and staying lit in breezy conditions. In calm conditions it works as advertised. I was cooking some steaks recently. I have the grill nestled into a "grill nook". This is a U shaped wall made of brick. it comes up to the level of the grill's side platforms. I had a 15mph wind blowing from the back of the grill, with gusts to maybe about 20. Breezy, but nothing extreme. The grill kept blowing OUT. I had a Kenmore Elite for 16 years that never had that problem, with or without the grill nook. And what's the solution? A thousand dollar stainless steel wall that surrounds the grill? And how is the cover supposed to work with that? And if I was somehow willing to spend a grand to fix this, would it even work with the cart? I won't be finding out. Getting it to light also seems harder if there is a breeze. Kind of embarrassing if you have company, to keep snapping the knob back and forth over and over to get the fire going. Everything else about the grill is so good, it's a shame they didn't get a couple of the basics right. If it didn't have those problems, I'd give it SIX stars.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
