Very disappointed in this grill, especially considering the price I paid for it. As other have mentioned, it does not have consistent heat output across the grilling surface, and there are hot spots. I've only had it installed a little more than a year and the flame tamers and burner tubes are completely rusted out. I have to pull them out and clean them off with a wire brush about every 1-2 months, followed by using a drill and small bit to get the rust out of the burner holes so gas can come out properly. It's such a pain. I never had to do this with my Weber Grills. As others have mentioned, it's also really hard to control the overall heat output - it gets WAY TOO hot, even on low setting. I purchased the infrared searing burner, and have not been happy with it either - a waste of money. The rotisserie is completely useless and sits WAY too low to the cooking grates. You can't cook anything larger than a 4-5 lbs bird, at most. I tried to cook a small 10 lbs turkey, and it wouldn't fit - I ended up using the pellet smoker. And forget about using a drip pan underneath a rotisserie bird.

I'm a 50+ year griller and after a year I am SO disappointed with this purchase. First are the stability bars they don't show in any of the pictures for this grill that get in the way of the rotisserie. In order to catch fat/juices you have to angle your catch pan. Good luck removing to use juices to use them without getting burned. Customer service told me (and even sent me) smaller catch pans. Very long learning curve to get to know this grill. Without graduations for the knobs, getting temperature where you want it is tough. The slightest adjustment to any burner makes big temp changes. Burners are very strong getting high heat is no issue. Problem is when you want to use this grill like an oven the lowest temp achievable is around 370F with the burners set as low as possible and still keep them burning. This grill has 3 insane hot spots. Until you learn where they are expect a few burned morsels. At least it looks good, because it sure doesn't cook good.

First I want to thank BBQ Guy's for helping me with this purchase. Very knowlegeable and went above and beyond to make it happen! I purchased this grill because I grill at the very least 3 times a week, all year around and live in Colorado where it gets very cold in the winter. I replaced my weber grill that struggled in the colder temps. No more struggling in the cold temperatures with this grill! This grill is a beast! It gets very hot. It took awhile to adjust to the different temps that I needed. But I have that part dialed in. I've had this grill for about 3 yrs now and it still looks very close to new condition. In the winter time it's dark outside by the time I get home from work but with the grills interior lights it's a breeze to grill some steaks or whatever I put on the grill. The rottisserie works awesome for ribeye roast and with the napoleon grill basket hot wings are a breeze! This was worth every hard earned dollar! No Regrets!

It does not pay to buy online because their service is horrible. Received unit and not working correctly. BBQ guys are just a middleman with no service. We finally had someone.come to repair unit and he.found out that he needed parts. Trying to get the parts through the 3rd party repair service has been a nightmare. The unit is only a few months old and is not working correctly. I suggest buying from a local dealer if you want a Blaze so you can have someone who will take help resolve. BBQ guys told.us WE have to deal with BLAZE!

This grill has been a problem from the start. I had a fire with in 3 days of having it because of the wind blowing the back burner flame into the grease on the chicken ,BBQ guys sent the top part of the grill to me so I can change out the back burner. I'm not even sure if the grill ever functioned correctly from the start. From the very start the grill flames would go on and off randomly, it was very audible. Today i went out to fire it up and i had no spark from 2 of the burners, this was probably on of the issues from the start.

Fabulous grill. Best I've ever owned. Don't know why I waited until my 70th birthday to buy one of these.

Arrived packed very well, and the driver fork lifted to where I could assemble it, put it in position. Although the directions lacked pictures, and once I got passed my panic😉, the directions were very easy to follow. I installed and enlarged my incoming gas line to a finish of 3/4 " and the bbque has definitely lived up to my expectations.

This is truly a professional grade piece of equipment! With tremendous build quality, and extremely heavy duty cooking system. The weight on the burners, cooking grates ,and flame tamers, is unmatched! Pre heating takes a while due to the extremely heavy duty component and the gauge of stainless-steel it has.. I have been only pre heating from very cold ambient temperatures so far(35 degrees or less)due to the time of the year of my purchase here in Central New Jersey. I use a inferred temperature gauge before cooking and have recorded 800-900+ degrees on the cooking surface after 20 min pre heat times.. The grill looks amazing in my out door kitchen along with the Blaze Pro Burner, and Blaze 30in Griddle along with the Blaze 5.2 24'' outdoor fridge .. The led lights are a killer a night, they are a really nice touch. After extensive research and professional reviews I decided on this instead of DCS, or Alfresco, these are also excellent products in their on rite, however, Blaze warranty pushed me over the edge. I am glad I made my purchase before the recent product line price increase. If you should decide to by this grill or any other product here, please call and ask for Stephanie Boitnott, She is very knowledgeable, and will go out here way to make sure your experience at BBQ GUYS is a great one.. Happy grilling friends. PS. This Grill is Huge!! (44'')and has tremendous presence..
Questions & Answers
Hi Jon. The temperature can depend on many variables, but on average you can expect to reach upwards of 700 degrees and higher under the right conditions with plenty of preheat time.
Asked by Jon | Answered by Joey, BBQGuys ExpertI've had the thermometer pegged at 750 before but it takes a very long time to do that. Typically, 350 to 400 takes about 15 minutes or so. Oh and don't waste your money on the IR sear burner. Total waste.
Asked by Jon | Answered by gk16bgHi Tom, the Blaze marine grade flame tamers are double-layered, perforated, and made with 316L stainless steel for added durability and corrosion resistance in salt water environments. They provide increased surface area for the vaporization of drippings, and better protection against grease and debris for the burners. The perforations allow hot grease to drip from the top down to the second layer, minimizing unwanted flareups.
Asked by Tom | Answered by RyanHi Matthew! This grill can be converted to propane using a conversion kit, or you can purchase this grill installed for use with propane instead of natural gas. The propane version of this grill is found here, and it's the same price as the natural gas version: https://www.bbqguys.com/blaze-outdoor-products/professional-44-inch-built-in-propane-gas-grill-with-rear-infrared-burner-blz-4pro-lp

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
