Lifetime Warranty

Blaze side burners have a lifetime warranty that warrants against any defects in the manufacturing and workmanship on the control valves, cooking grid, stainless steel housing, stainless steel burner and all other stainless steel components. The control valves are warrantied for fifteen (15) years while electrical and ignition components are covered for one (1) year after the date of purchase.

For warming sauces at best

This is not a burner to saute or fry. Get the power burner for that. Blaze rep confirmed this is meant to warm sauces. Having mine replaced with power burner.

Do not waste your money

I bought this side burner along with an entire outdoor kitchen-griddle, grill, sink and cabinets. Unfortunately this side burner was a huge disappointment. I tried to boil water with it and waited over 30 minutes and it never got hot enough to boil. I emailed back and forth with the technical team at BBQ Guys, sent pictures and videos. They confirmed that the burner is working correctly, but that it does not generate enough heat to cook. Disappointed, I decided to see if I could get water to boil if I kept it on longer. After an hour and 45 minutes, I gave up. I had grand visions of large pasta dinners, crab legs, low country boils etc. but unfortunately those are only pipe dreams with this inadequate side burner. Save your money.

NOT ENOUGH BTUs TO FRY CHICKEN OR OTHER FOODS. T

This only has 12,000 BTUs per burner. Not enough to rapidly fry anything. I will return this and get a 60,000 BTU burner. The goal was to fry outside so we don't scatter grease in the kitchen.

Is it possible to install 2 of these side by side? If so, how much clearance does there need to be between them? We have a client who wants a 24" - 4 burner side burner unit but I have been unable to find one. I'm wondering if I can install 2 of these instead of one unit.

Hi Erin! According to Blaze, there are no required clearances between this product. You can install side-by-side but will of course need some sort of framing between them.

I purchased this 1.5 years ago and honestly have not used it but only twice. The issue/question I have is ours does not produce a high flame at all. It's not as hot as I would have thought either. This can't be right is it? I see where one of the comments stated it really "puts out the heat". Mine definitely does not. Takes forever to heat things up. Thoughts?

Hey! Would advise to check and make sure everything is secure first. Check to see if you registered the warranty when you bought it, because this may be covered if their is something defective with the valves. Question:
My side burner shipped with a required gas regulator which has 1/2 inch female pipe thread connections. The side burner assembly itself, however, shipped with a 3/8 inch male flare fitting permanently attached to the gas input, which is incompatible with the supplied regulator. I have been unable to locate a 3/8 inch female flare to 1/2 inch male pipe thread fitting to connect them. Is it possible to remove the permanently attached 3/8 male flare fitting to expose the 1/2 inch male pipe thread on the gas input line? The fitting appears to be glued on with a durable white substance.

Hey Luke! I would not try to remove the already attached fitting, as manual gives direction under gas connections, you would not want to have any leaks. When will my item arrive?

Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:

Carriers that deliver without an appointment don’t require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren’t required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you’re home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you’re out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
