It helps prevent getting burned. It has a comfortable design on the handle and the quality is pretty good. It performs as needed which is great to have. | Very nice set!My kids have always wanted some marshmallow sticks because we love making smores so this is the first set we've ever owned and are more than satisfied with these! These roaster sticks extend to 45" which is perfect for kids to use so they don't get too close to the heat. These sticks are also great for hot dogs too when cooking on a grill. Each stick (5 included), has a small rubber piece to cover each prong (prong isn't sharp at all) and includes a zippered case to carry these in which is great for camping or storing when not in use. | Really coolWow what a great product, the marshmallow roasting sticks are awesome. I love the retractable sticks. And they open to a nice safe length for the little kiddos to stay back from fire pit. The rubber grip handle is nice, no slip. Plus the set means no fighting over a stick, everyone gets the same thing. They clean up nice and come with a carrying case for storage. And best of all they cool down quickly so no burns.
