This is VERY large. I had a smaller version, but had to get an inverter stove version when I upgraded my appliance. This one works with inverters, but must be carefully fitted into the dishwasher and cabinets.

Bought this under the impression that All Clad makes their stainless products in the USA. On the site, there's no mention that this one is an exception. Well, it is... and I'm full of regret as a result.

While the greatest percentage of our cookware products is manufactured in Canonsburg PA, some pieces are manufactured offshore to All-Clad specifications. These pieces include tools (utensils), and inserts (such as our steamer and double boiler inserts). Additionally, our All-Clad Stainless or specialty line features a wide array of specialty items and other pieces that are manufactured offshore as well. We do appreciate your loyalty to our American-made products. We assure you that we have thoroughly researched the capabilities of our off-shore partners, and allow the products produced for All-Clad to bear our name and lifetime warranty only because we are certain of the level of quality therein. Made in China. Full of regret that I bought this. Bought this thinking All Clad made their stainless products in PA. Nowhere on the description does it mention it's made in China. Well, it is.

My mother had a pretty extensive All-Clad set & this pot is among the set I got after she passed. Whether it's making soups or chili or huge batches of Mac & cheese for holiday meals, I use this pot & I love it. It distributes heat well & there is no burning or sticking. This pot has to be 20 years old & still looks brand new.

I bought this over the 3ply because it had the baskets which are nice. HOWEVER it is by no means the quality of the 8qrt 3ply we have. HUGE difference. save some money and buy a non all-clad brand for this size with baskets. Love the 3ply and the other well made all-clad lines. just don't waste your money on this lesser quality line.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
