This is an excellent piece of cookware and will likely last our family a very long time. That is not to say that it is a perfect design. There are several design elements that I would change. The diameter needs to be about 1-2" bigger so that it could nest with the 3-quart pot. The specs said it was a 3/4" larger diameter, but it's actually exactly the same as the 3-quart pot and will not nest. The handle for the lids on this line all get EXTREMELY hot, to the point where they are unusable without a mit, so those could use some work. These pots also have a small "helper handle" opposite the main handle, which really only serves to make the pot harder to handle as it adds weight at the farthest out point. These should be removed. Lastly, the main handle should be a little wider for better handling. With as heavy as these pots are empty, a wider handle seems essential. Overall, I think my expectations for these pots was too high and I ended up disappointed as a result.

The pot itself is great!! Heavy and great quality. The heat is dispersed evenly from bottom to top of rim! That's awesome. I am not happy that the handles and lids are made in China. That is deterring my decision to buy more items in this collection. Also, the handles are not very comfortable.

Handle is very awkward and difficult to grab with one hand even when the pan is empty. Handle is so long that it would get on the way with other pans on the stove. I wish it would have a glass lid.

Consistent heating, love the Copper Core handles and ease of cleaning. I have All Clad D3, D5 as well as Copper Core products throughout our Chef's Kitchen and rely on Copper Core mostly for pots and large saute pans that don't require a lot of fine manipulation on the heat. I also require easy clean up and easy care of all of our cookware and All Clad meets/exceeds all of my expectations.

Excellent heat distribution both on gas and induction. Have not witnessed anything better! However there is some discoloration on the cover that i am not happy

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
