I'd say a little goes a long way because I put to much in at once and it did give it an overpowering smell and a slightly bitter taste to what I grilled. The Robust Blend is a deep rich smokey flavor. We had company over and I made chicken wings, I made 2 separate platters with 2 different pellets and one of them said these are so robust. | Robust flavorI love cooking on the Ninja woodfire. Cooking with these pallets really infuse the taste into the meat. I have had great success with fish, chicken and pork.
