WPPO Professional pizza ovens are built to last and perform with 304-grade stainless steel construction, double-walled ovens, 1 1/4-inch thick cordierite baking stone oven floors and an effective downdraft air system for improved temperature management. The WPPO Pro 4 has a 483 square-inch cooking surface with over 4 inches of fire blanket insulation in the dome and 2 inches below the oven floor. A thermometer built into the face of the oven allows you to check internal temperatures without removing the oven door. The oven is supported by four heavy-duty adjustable pedestal feet to ensure level placement.

So far so good!I've seen little/no review of this items online, so though I would share my thoughts. Please note that I've only had it for a few days but have burned it twice, and cooked pizza and bread in it. So far the oven has been great! I was able to get it to pizza temp within 30/40 minutes using around 4 (3-4 inch thick x 10 in long) logs and smaller split wood to start the fire. Getting it fired up was very simple and the door was reading 800+ degrees Fahrenheit. The floor temp at this time was reading between 450-600 degrees. The outside of the oven got hot but wasn't dangerously hot with the bit of insulation it has, I was surprised. The only cons which are not really cons per se as it is by design is that there is not a separate burning area, which is normal with these kinds of ovens but possibly an upside to something like the Ooni. So the logs are burning in what is the cooking area thus reducing the space, but I'm certain I could get 2 ~10 inch pizza without a problem. Once I use it a few more times I'll probably bump up the rating to 5 starts depending on how it holds up over uses. I'm impressed on how easy it is and the results, the best pizza I've ever made. I've used the KettlePizza several times and the heat retention does not compare to an oven like this WPPO 4. I'd highly recommend it. | Was This Helpful? |
