The newly designed GENESIS gas grill features our largest and hottest sear zone, with secondary cooking grate so that the main course and sides are all grilled and served at the same time. | Genesis S-325s Gas GrillWe've had 2 other Genesis grills over the years, and we appreciate the improvements in this model. We like the knobs on the front of the grill and the searing function. It's still the same great Weber quality but with enhanced features. Our last Genesis had a very long life-- 15 years and we assume this product will last as long. | Was This Helpful? |
| From Charcoal to LPI have had and used a Weber Charcoal grill for many years. It is hard to beat the flavors that the charcoal imparts. We are in the midst of a total kitchen tear out and remodel. We are basically living out of the basement with only rudimentary appliances. The down side of the charcoal grill is start-up time. Even with the propane starter and chimney, it takes a good 45 minutes. I decided to purchase the gas grill to speed things up since we use it a minimum of 2 times per day during the remodel. The new grill has worked out wonderfully. Not only can I be up and running in 15 or 20 minutes, I can cook multiple dishes at one time. It is very efficient and the food is almost comparable to the charcoal taste. Using a small wood smoker brings the food to the next level nearing the charcoal flavor. I still have the Weber Charcoal grill on my deck however, I doubt that it will see much action. | Was This Helpful? |

| Love the new grillAfter 30 years of great use of my last Weber grill which still worked, I replaced it with a new design Genesis stainless steel model. Beautiful. Solid. Love the front to back burners so that it is possible to use half at a time for smaller portions. Easy to assemble. Easy start up. No complaints. Highly recommended. | Best grill I've ever hadI've always had low to mid range grills, we recently built a new house and I decided that a new grill was in order as well. Boy did I make the right decision.
The heat is perfectly distributed and consistent, it's built like a tank and I cannot wait to test out some of the accessories.

| Made the leap to WeberI just bought this grill a week ago and am so impressed that I feel uncharacteristically compelled to submit a review. This is my first Weber grill and have only used it twice.(tonite will be the third) The first thing I noticed was the rapid preheating. You will be up and running in no time. I was always used to firing up the burners from each other. With this grill you will need to ignite the grills individually. The steaks I made both times came out awesome. Firing up the SEARZONE towards the end of the cooking just sealed all those delicious juices so nice. I realize that this is a brand new grill but I've never had such a feeling of Control over the meat that I'm cooking with any other grill that I've owned. I also really like the plus of the extra large side prep surfaces. Very handy.
I guess the thing that kept me from making a Weber purchase before now was the cost.
But can you put a price on certainty and not being frustrated in your backyard grilling? I think not. I really love the feeling of being satisfied with a big ticket item, and if you are on the fence...isn't it time to make the leap? | Was This Helpful? |
