 | Wonderful taste, best chicken ever!We just made a whole chicken today. Brined it overnight using the Traeger Turkey brine and rub. Spatchcocked the chicken before putting it in the roasting pan on a rack on top of onion, carrots and celery along with sage, thyme, parsley and chicken broth. Sprinkled the rub over the chicken and smoked it for 45 minutes on smoke then ramped up the temperature to 350. Let it cook till it reached 165' then let it rest while I made the gravy and finished vegetables. The best chicken we have done! | Was This Helpful? |
