Modern Home Products (MHP) offers a lifetime warranty on the top and bottom castings, control panel, stainless steel shelf brackets, in-ground/patio base post, stainless steel and sear magic cooking grids and stainless steel burners. The porcelain briquettes and infrared burners are warranted against defects for a period of five (5) years and all other components including ignition system, valves, Nu-Stone side shelves, control knobs, patio base and rock grates are warrantied against defects for a period of one (1) year. All paint is warrantied for thirty (30) days. MHP also offers a one (1) year warranty on all parts if installed in a commercial, multi-unit or community use location.

A good Grill - I have had mine since 1996
I use this for all my grillling. I have a wood-fired smoker/cooker for low/slow, so the JNR gets used only for grilling. I have used the aluminum sear-magic grating, switched to the SS one for a few years, and recently bought a new aluminum one. The both have advantages. Aluminum lets fewer small items fall through, and may sear meat faster. I thought that the SS grill would allow heat to radiate up from the ceramic and sear better, but the ceramic really does not get hot enough for that. In fact, my only complaint is that I would prefer more heat output and hotter ceramic / more radiant heat. For chicken, vegetables, and thicker pieces, the JNR gives perfect results. For steaks and chops thinner than about 3/4", I would be a little happier with more heat. I have found that the factory-provided burner will eventually rust out. Fortunately, replacements are easily available. I probably get about 5 years before there is enough rust that the flames are uneven and a new burner is needed.

I like my new grill!
I was a little worried when I saw that I needed to assemble this grill. The directions were easy to follow and I was able to put it togehter in less than an hour by myself. No problem. I also thought it might not be stable-Top is heavier than stand-but it is fine on my deck by the water and wind in Florida. I have used it a few times so cannot comment on grilling a huge, bugers and bun warming all went well as did grilling veggies. I like my new grill!
