It features a rotating display that rotates 180 degrees for viewing in your right or left hand. The backlit LCD display shows temperatures in both Fahrenheit and Celsius and has a temperature range from -40 to 660 degrees Fahrenheit. The probe pivots into the unit for compact storage and also automatically turns the unit on and off when the probe is opened and closed. This thermometer reads accurate temperatures in less than 5 seconds and has a super thin tip. This thermometer is easy to maintain with simple calibration by inserting the probe tip into ice water at 32 degrees Fahrenheit or boiling water at 212 Fahrenheit and the low battery indicator tells you when it s time to replace the batteries. Includes 2 AAA batteries.
