Just set your ManGrate on your grill and cook like a pro. The cast iron design of the ManGrate grilling grate utilizes radiant heat, instead of convection heat, searing in the juices while allowing food to cook evenly. The angled ledges on each bar of the ManGrate are known as smoke rails, which are designed to trap and retain oils and fats released during grilling that aid in the natural smoking process, giving meats a rich, barbecued flavor. The smoke rails also help to reduce flare ups. Your ManGrate will season over time making it naturally rust-resistant and creating a virtually non-stick grilling surface. ManGrates are made in the USA, of heavy-duty cast iron. Caring for your ManGrate is easy, simply clean off your ManGrate before grilling and apply oil evenly and thoroughly. After grilling, allow your ManGrate to cool, then brush clean, oil and close the grill lid. ManGrates are portable so they can be transferred to any grill you may ever own, and you can add or subtract the number of grates you need by placing them side-by-side depending upon the size of your grilling surface. Each ManGrate measures 4 1/4-inches wide and 15-inches deep.
