Great order communication. easy to assemble.. would recommend item number on component as I had to hunt and search for the right component. simple round sticker with a number on it that is included on the assembly instruction.

I've had this grill for about 20 days, patio set up about 15 days. I've grilled 8 of the 15 days. Assembly was fast and easy, and every component was immaculately clean to the touch. The grate design is brilliant: using the juices & fats to vaporize and add a smokiness. And the self clean is amazing. Caution: it WILL throw a good amount of smoke, which means it's working ideally, cleaning up every bit of goo with good ol' fi— electricity.

Not often do you have the experience of spending four-hundred something dollars on a product, hating it for the first few weeks, then finally figuring out how it works, and loving it thereafter. That is my story with the Char Broil Edge electric BBQ. When the propane gas tank on our old BBQ ran out of gas, I decided that I no longer wanted to tote the empty tank into a nearby box store for replacement. Instead, I got rid of the old BBQ, propane tank and all, and ordered the Char Broil Edge electric, hoping for the best. Soon, two large, heavy boxes arrived from Char Broil. Using the suggested app, I successfully assembled the new BBQ, not without significant grunting and sweat. Finally, it was time to cook. I checked out a couple of videos online but neither really made clear how cooking with electric was different from cooking with gas flames. So, I just used my time-tested techniques, in terms of cooking time, and temperature control. My first two attempts were disasters. The food ended up undercooked and unsatisfying. I felt disappointed. Had I wasted my money? Would I have to laboriously take apart, box up, and return the Edge? No. I persevered, did some research, called the company, and learned from my mistakes. With the Edge, you need to be patient, give everything more cooking time, avoid frequently adjusting the temperature knob or lifting up the hood to check on things. Basically, just stop meddling and let the Edge do the work. The differences were extraordinary. Juicier vegetables, softer potatoes, crispier buns! Everything was turning out BETTER than when I was cooking with gas. And to top it all off, cooking with the Edge is emission-free. Yay! Very nice not to have fumes and smoke in your face. So, although it took a little time, I eventually fell in love with the Edge. If you give it a chance, I think you will, too!

I like this edge grill. I pull it away from the house and plug it in. Go in to prepare food about 15 minutes and the grill is nice and hot. It keep the house cool. If I cook alot of food indoors when the a/c is on it can't keep up. Plus I wanted a no mess grill. No charcoal because I have that by the pool. And no gas because I always forget to turn it off. Plus it's a pain to refill. Now a can cook ribeyes, meatloaf, burgers and more with ease. Thank you Charbroil. PS. I have no affiliation with this company.

Have always preferred electric grills . The Edge from Char - Broil is without question the best electric grill I have ever used . Easy assembly first of all with clear directions and part list ldentification .. Another excellent feature is this grill gets hot fairly quickly . I like to sear our food first and then reduce the heat . Perfect . This grill heats to 700 degrees without fail . This has been a 5 star purchase . The only complaint is the on off touch feature . I fear this will be a problem someday but we will see .

First off, this grill produces EXCELLENT cooked meats and vegetables! However, I was hoping to bake with this, but it is inconsistent at maintaining temperature. The heating element is also so close to where grease falls underneath the grates that it is difficult to clean. While not earning a full 5 stars from me, this is the BEST electric grill for a very reasonable price.

it doesn't get up to selected temperature and even with the self cleaning it's very hard to clean

This is such a great option for those who can't have charcoal or don't want propane. I live in a townhouse with a little balcony. It fits perfectly. I had a cookout and it was plenty big to cook everything. The food came out great. It was really easy to operate and clean up. I love this option.
