Plenty of heat, but hard to control temp

I have owned this stove for 2 years. Has been very hard to control the heat on burners. They need better valves that will stay in place. You have to turn way up and valves then close down. Takes a while to get correct temp.. if valves worked would be great stove!

See rust after 2 years

Massive cook space!

I purchased this stove a few weeks ago and its been amazing! The electric start system works every single time with no need to always find a lighter. I can easily place 2 10" cast iron skillets on this stove without issue. Temperature regulation is amazing and BTU output is top notch. There isn't anything I would change about this stove.

Awesome power to cook fast

I hadn't been camping in 20 years and wanted to get a stove that would not take 30 minutes to boil a pot of coffee. I don't want to spend my camping time waiting for water to boil! This one started to boil an 8 cup pot within 3 minutes! It also lit the burners right away. Only 2 cons: I need to find a heat resistant non-slip surface to keep it from sliding when pushing the igniter button. 2nd con isn't really a con it's just that this stove is 23.5 inches wide before you take into account the regulator space you need on the side. If you are going to use a bottle it needs about 33 inches. I have obtained a regulator adapter for a tank for next trip but still need about 33 inch width. I'm having a hard time finding a fold away grilling table to use with this stove. I am very pleased with the performance of this stove so I will eventually find the perfect set up!

Best ever.

Used it on 7 week trip this summer almost between 6,000 and 12,000'. Delivered hot water fast every time. I was initially concerned about low settings but had no problem adjusting even for delicate omelettes. Worth the money, but needs to come with carrying case- even a lightweight version. Rented a stocked teardrop this week, camping at 1500'. Forgot what a 'typical' camp stove puts out for heat. Didn't enjoy waiting forever for hot water to make instant coffee in 42 degrees. Even more impressed.

awesome power

Just went through hurricane Irma. Even though we have a gas stove in the kitchen, without power, we didn't want any more heat inside while cooking. We used this on the patio with great success. This stove has incredible power. Much better than our kitchen stove in fact and the controls work great for simmering as well. This is a great stove. Time will tell how it holds up long term, but fantastic so far.

Needed a stove during remodeling

I used the stove while we remodel our kitchen during the summer. Ran the stove everyday for a little over a month as our primary cook top. Ran with no issues with everyday usage, made us switch from electric to gas in our kitchen unit. Goes to show it's quality and durability

Terrific Stove

I love this stove after having it on the road with me for the past several years. In all conditions it has been great. The only improvements would be including a carrying case, at this price that seems like a small thing but I noticed some friends who bought other models received one with theirs? I know, small thing. Then, having some threaded feet on the corners for quick leveling would make this unparalleled. But seriously folks, this thing is outstanding. Hot water and food in minutes at high altitude. Very reasonable fuel use. Solid feel for easy cooking. All my friends have purchased this or some variant of Camp Chef and we are all very pleased. It is not uncommon to have 2 or 3 of these at our group sites for a gourmet but practical camping experience.

A well built blast furnace!

I was stubborn for a long time and refused to give up my old school Coleman liquid fuel stove. I finally gave in and shopped for a stove my whole family could operate and I'm really happy with the Everest. The stove is an absolute beast when it comes to BTUs and boils water in no time. The adjustment is good and I was able to use it for low simmers as well. I would HIGHLY suggest avoiding the 1lb bottles and buying the hose to use 20lb propage tanks if you're car camping/RVing. At the very least learn to re-fill the 1lb bottles and don't dump them in the landfill. Overall a really great camp stove for families and groups.

When will my item arrive?

Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

  • Most freight products ship on a pallet
  • Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
  • We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.

For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.

For carriers that deliver without an appointment:

Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
