Dead burner

I purchased this stove in 5/2016. I have loved it, but over the past year the LH burner stopped working. It got so bad that it wouldn't even boil water. I took the entire stove a part and found no evidence of why the burner wouldn't work any more. Upon putting it back together, the LH burner won't work at all. I really liked the functionality of the stove (and the powerful 2 burners and piezo starter), but I cannot recommend it with it dying so quickly.

Love this stove!

I bought this stove last year because it has 20,000 btu's of POWER per burner it is the best stove I have ever had! I have been camping for 55 years this is the first camp stove that I can actually turn the burner to simmer and it doesn't go out! Try that with the stove you are currently using!

Nice BTUs, but crummy quality overall

The stove works well out of the box, but the hinges rust as soon as you look at them, the thin metal case dents within days and you will go through several regulators during ownership. For the price, the stove should be a lot better quality.

Love the stove - not happy with CampChef company

This is (was?) an amazing camp stove - incredible heat output - BUT, Camp Chef makes it so hard to service and care for... 1) Why don't they sell a PADDED nylon bag to better protect the stove? 2) Why can't I buy new o-rings for the regulator when they wear out and leak? 3) Why can't I buy new burner assembly (rings or main reflector dish) when the existing one has rusted/corroded/burned away? I was hoping this was going to last a lifetime, but it looks like once discontinued, Camp Chef - like all the rest - just want to sell you a new stove. :-(

VG Quality

I have used this model for 5 years on average 5 - 6 times a year. Yes the heat is a little difficult to control (too hot) but I have learned how to regulate it. No quality issues with it.

Everest 2 burner camp stove

Not the quality I was expecting. Wind deflector doesn't fit to stove properly. No carry handle and flimsy latches. I will be returning it.

Great except when latch breaks

This is a great stove and the ability to simmer or blow it to the max for fast water boil makes it a super versatile stove. However, my only gripe (and this is a major one) is that the 2 plastic latches have both broken within months of each other. Now there is no way to keep the stove securely closed. My friend's older model uses a single metal latch has is much more durable. I don't know why Camp Chef decided to use a much more fragile closure system. Maybe it was to save on production costs, but it was a terrible idea

Excellent Powerful Stove

We have owned this stove for a few years now. It is easy to use and is quite powerful due to the direction the flame is directed from the burner. I highly recommend this stove.

Poor quality and unreliable

Tested my stove right out of the box. Right burner did not function at all. The plastic latches are riveted and the rivet was loose allowing the latch to just spin around. Very disappointed.

Failed after 4 uses!

I was so excited to buy a new stove for the camping season. After only 4 meals the right burner doesn't work. It's hard to light, makes a large yellow flame, and is dramatically louder than the left burner. It makes no difference if one or both burners are on. The left always works properly, the right is now permanently broken. Maybe Camp Chef can help me with repairs/replacement to quickly get me back om track with camping season. When it worked I was happy with how much heat it put out for large quantities of water or food. Would give many more stars if it had not failed so immediately. Frustrating to buy new and have such early failure.

When will my item arrive?

Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

  • Most freight products ship on a pallet
  • Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
  • We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.

For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.

For carriers that deliver without an appointment:

Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
