Great look and easy set up!
I got this as a Christmas gift. The split oak logs look incredibly real and give off just the right amount of heat. The whole set was easy to install and works like a champ. It took a little over an hour and the warm and cozy fire was burning. A special nod to BBQ Guys for the quick shipping. I ordered by phone on a Sunday and the entire kit arrived 2 days later without having to pay for expedited shipping. The whole experience was top notch.

Question:
Model #2988303 with Electronic Variable Remote: We installed as directed. After burning for 4 hours, fireplace shut off for a few minutes then relit itself, then shutoff again after 5min then relit - we turned it off and here we are after spending another hour trying to find the answer.

Question:
Is there a difference between logs and ignitor for vent-less vs vented gas fireplaces? I was looking at your Natural gas 24" Grand Mountain set...but it says vented We are doing a corner fireplace in a covered ( on 3 sides porch) with 10 foot ceiling.

Answer:
Hi Pamela! There is a huge difference between logs and ignitor for vent-less vs vented. Nothing can be changed, added to, or modified on a vent-free log set. Vent-free sets are specifically designed to produce as little emissions as possible. Altering them in anyway can upset this delicate balance and lead to a potentially dangerous gas log set. All vented sets require a fully functioning wood burning fireplace with a chimney in good repair and are not designed with the same strict requirements as all dangerous emissions would simply vent up through the chimney.

This log set includes a custom grate, an H-shaped burner, sand, lava rocks, embers, a non-whistling connector kit and damper clamp.
