A lifetime warranty (labor not included) is given on the stainless steel grill burners, stainless steel grill cover, burner box, cooking grates and grill racks (excluding discoloration or surface corrosion). In addition, all DCS grills have a two year (2) limited warranty covering parts and labor for the entire product, and a five (5) year comprehensive warranty covering the radiant trays, radiant tray side rails and drip pans. Should structural deterioration occur to the degree of non-performance, a replacement will be furnished. Lifetime is defined as normal domestic use and service for the lifetime of the original purchaser.

Very Nice Grill
The grill is very large (which was what we wanted). It cooks evenly and with good heat. Still in the first week of using it, so not a lot to say about features yet. This grill is very heavy. It is NOT a one person job to install it. The only downside on the installation was the clear plastic film they applied to protect the finish. When we removed the film, it left quite a bit of adhesive behind. We found that alcohol was about the only thing that removed the adhesive along with elbow grease. It probably took us over 2 hours and two bottles of isopropyl alcohol to get all the film adhesive off the grill.

Starting the Second Grilling Season - Broken Rotisserie Hand
We finally installed our DCS 48" grill after getting a 30' outdoor kitchen built, the grill is a serious piece of equipment. It became the focus of our outdoor living last year and performed wonderfully through many large parties. We cleaned it well and turned it off for the winter. Our weather has finally warmed up here in Michigan and we have the grill back in action, a new battery was needed for ignition, I guess I should have removed the old one before winter. Our grill has gone right back to providing excellent cooking looking none the worse for the winter. Our only issue was the rotisserie black handle broke off while lifting the empty skewer, luckily I did not lose a toe! On contacting DCS parts for replacement I was told that my grill only has 12 months parts warranty even though this website claims 24 months. I purchased the grill a year before my project was complete and had it installed 9 months of which it was used for 4 months. This is a great quality product, I love it, but I feel let down on service and warranty as I pay my $25 for the replacement rotisserie handle to the offshore support line.

Question:
Hi, recently bought a custom home with an outdoor kitchen / cabana. It has a FP /DCS 48" grill (traditional 7?), can't be any older than 5 yrs. It's in mint condition, the previous owner took care of his stuff. This is a propane model, question is, can the heat level be adjusted down?, even on low it's really HOT, difficult to bbq. Thanks for any assistance in advance to solve this dilemma, Jon-San Diego

Hi Jonny! This could be caused by a number of problems that can be potentially dangerous to self diagnose. We recommend calling a licensed plumber or gas specialist to inspect the orifices and gas line. The pressure could be too high or have the wrong orifice.
