Get more from your outdoor oven with the Alsace wood burning pizza oven that also converts to a grill! Whether it is roasting, baking or grilling, the versatility and possibilities are endless. The Alsace uses a unique tilting system that allows you to lift the lid and grill delicious steaks right over the fire. Lower the top, and use the grill as a regular outdoor oven for pizzas, breads and baking. Featuring steel, double-walled construction, the outer wall is 3mm thick and the 26 W X 16 D X 9 H inside chamber is lined with 1/8 inch stainless steel. The air travels between the walls, warming the two, thick stones on the chamber floor providing a 360 degree cooking environment of both radiant and direct heat for healthier, more fuel efficient cooking. The Alsace is capable of reaching cooking temperatures of 500 to 600 degrees Fahrenheit within an hour, and is also capable of cooking up to 2 hours after the fire goes out. Two stainless steel side tables are ideal for preparing food and the lower shelf can be used for storing wood or accessories. The four heavy duty wheels add easy of portability and the lower ash collection tray makes it easy to clean up after cooking. The Alsace oven and grill also includes a built-in thermometer, aluminum pizza peel, and vinyl cover for a complete outdoor oven package.

Things To Love:
The Alsace wood-burning pizza oven from L'Art du Jardin brings a whole new meaning to the word versatility.
At its core, it's a good pizza oven, but tilt-back the top and in mere seconds you'll be ready to grill meats, fish and vegetables.
I even cooked a lasagna where I grilled ribeye steak and veggies on the grill grate and then locked the oven in place to bake it to golden brown

The fire is contained below the oven in a firebox, and the heat and smoke travels through an airspace surrounding the cooking chamber,
allowing you to use natural wood or lump charcoal to fuel your oven while avoiding the overly smoky flavor of many pizza ovens.
It takes about 30 minutes for the thick 1.5 inch cooking stones to reach the perfect baking temperature, but once they get going, they can keep cooking for up to two hours after the fire goes out.
I like that the oven door is glass, allowing you to monitor the status of your food without losing heat to check on it, and I can always appreciate the extra prep space that the included side tables provide.
Things To Consider:
While there is nothing wrong with the 3mm thick powder-coated steel that this oven is made from, it is not as durable as stainless steel,
but you shouldn't worry about this as L'Art du Jardin stands behind their product with an impressive warranty.
