Like New In Season 3

My 3 year old Angus cart looks and performs just as well as the fist year. We live right on the Washington coast & the wind is always blowing moist salty air in off the ocean and I've not seen a hint of corrosion . Ever screw and bolt is made of stainless . This spring (2016) I ordered a infrared searing burner and swapped it out with one of the conventional burners , I wish I'd done that when I fist got it! The searing unit is really handy and I advise everyone to just pull the trigger & buy one when you purchase your grill. One more thing , because it's made of a high quality alloy of stainless nothing magnetic will stick. I just mention that because there's quite a few grilling accessories that are magnetic. I'll go out on a limb and say if this unit is cared for it will last as long as you will. Oh and two thumbs way up for the IR rotisserie element. I'm pushing 60 and really irritated by the (throw away society) we live in , it's nice to see a product built to last and not built for income via replacement parts.

Happy Angus owner

the grill gets to operating temperature quickly and maintains a hotter temperature than my old propane units, twice the BTUs. Sears burgers and steaks with ease.

The Skinny:

  • Reputable brand name
  • Bull's highest quality model
  • Simple & reliable ignition system
  • All stainless steel construction
  • Cast stainless burners
  • Even heat distribution

Things We Love:

Bull's highest quality grills include Angus, Brahma, and Diablo models. Bull started building great grills in the nineties and have been going strong ever since! They make a well built, good cooking grill at a good price point, and they have become a popular centerpiece for many outdoor kitchens across the country.

From a durability perspective, I like the commercial grade 304 stainless steel exterior housing and cooking grids, both backed by a lifetime warranty. The hood is made from a thick 14 gauge 304 stainless steel that is sturdy and great for heat retention. As for how it cooks, Bull's ReliaBULL technology provides these grills with preforated stainless steel flame tamers that spread the heat evenly to reduce hot and cold spots, while improving the heat intensity of the grill. Bull uses a simple, but reliable, piezo powered, flame thrower ignition system. I really like that this system doesn’t need batteries that eventually wear out and have to be replaced.

While not all Bull gas grills are same, their Angus, Brahma, and Diablo models stand above their other models in terms of features and quality components. For starters, these models are powered by heavy duty cast stainless steel burners, backed by a lifetime warranty. Also, these models come standard with a rear infrared burner and rotisserie kit, and interior lights which makes it easier for nighttime grilling. The Angus is a 4 burner model and the Brahma is a larger 5 burner model. The standout of the group though is the Diablo. The 6 burner Bull Diablo Grill features 105,000 BTU's of power, and 1564 square inches of total cooking area. This is definitely an impressive model for the price.

Thing To Consider:

While the Bull warranty is strong on the housing, cooking grids and burners, the flame tamers are only backed by a 3 year warranty and the valves are only backed by a 1 year warranty.

You'll Like This Grill If:

You want the highest quality gas grill made by Bull, a good company that's been around for a while.

Question:
Is there any plastic whatsoever used between the knobs and the shafts? I have had to return 2 grills now because the knob attachment to the shaft melted causing the knobs to actually fall off, leaving a deformed piece of junk that can't even be put back on. What are they thinking??
Was This Helpful?
Answer:
Hi Dave, we are unaware of any brand that doesn't have plastic in the knob where the valve stem meets. The plastic is supposed to be heat resistant, though, which is the case for this grill as well.

Question:
Do the carts side shelves fold down when not in use?
Was This Helpful?
Answer:
Hi Mickey, the side shelves on the Bull 30-inch 4-burner grill are secured in place by four screws for each shelf and do not fold down.

Question:
There are contradicting specs given for both the Bull Angus and Brahma grills that state they're both made from 14 and 16 gauge stainless. So which is it? Also, what material is the cart made of?
Was This Helpful?
Answer:
Great question, Mike! So sorry for the confusion. The grill is made from 14 gauge stainless steel. The cart is made from the same material.

Free Shipping on orders over $49

When will my item arrive?

Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we’ve all come to expect for small parcels, so it’s important that you’re prepared and understand what’s required of you well before delivery day.

  • Most freight products ship on a pallet
  • Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
  • We’ll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.

For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can’t be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we’ve only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.

For carriers that deliver without an appointment:

Carriers that deliver without an appointment don’t require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren’t required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you’re home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you’re out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
