  • Q.

can natural gas grill be converted to propane?

    • A.

The Blaze grills can be converted. They come with the conversion fittings necessary to do so. Any licensed professional can easily do the conversion for you. Reply

  • Q.

What is the difference between the original blaze grills and blaze professional grills?

    • A.

The Pro offers more bells and whistles, such as elaborate Red LED lights on the control panel, and interior halogen lights giving it more of a sophisticated look. The control panel has a nice bull nose edge and angled side panels. The cooking grids on the Pro are a heavier duty increasing their life span and are hexagonal shape. The thicker grids help when searing because they are able to hold heat better. The burners themselves are beefed up on the PRO also, to facilitate the impressive 22K BTU per burner output. Because of the heavier gauge Pro offers a 10yr. Warranty on flame tamers and heat zone separators. Original series Blaze Grills still deliver high heat but only has a 14K BTU output per burner. Warranty on Blaze original flame tamers and heat zone separators are warrantied for 5yrs. Blaze PRO includes the rotisserie kit and has a spit rod holder built into the grill. Both have a lifetime warranty on cooking grids and stainless steel housings and burners. Hope this helps! Reply

  • Q.

Why if the burners, body, and cooking grids have a life time warranty, why do the flame tamers have a 5 year warranty? How does this compare to other grills?

    • A.

The 5 year warranty is actually better than it's competitors. Blaze even beats out the warranty on the higher price range grills. When you think of where a flame tamers are located - under the cooking grids and above the burners - this area is getting the most wear and tear. All of the drippings - fats and acids from foods - and any sauces will drip directly onto the flame tamers. Not only are they being attacked from the top, but from underneath as well. All of the heat from the burners is directed to the flame tamers. That is why most manufactures only warrant the flame tamers for 1-3 years. Because Blaze has a beefed up 14 gauge flame taming system, they are able to provide a longer warranty and stand behind the most abused part of a grill. The Blaze Pro went a step further and beefed up the flame tamers even more. The flame tamers on the Blaze Pro is 12 gauge thick stainless steel. If you could feel this in person you would know what I mean! The thicker gauge means a better warranty. Reply

  • Q.

What are the main differences between the blaze & lion grills?

    • A.

Both grills are comparable to each other. Lion offers interior lighting, which is attractive to most customers. Lion also offers a ceramic flame taming system upgrade, to replace their stainless steel flame taming system. Currently, Lion also offers a free grilling package which includes several grilling accessories to complete the entire grilling experience. This package includes a free smoker box, grill cover, rotis kit, griddle and griddle remover. Blaze offers a longer warranty on the flame taming system and valves. The flame taming system on the Blaze is comprised heavier gauge of stainless steel and is perforated to allow better distribution of heat to yoru cooking area. Blaze offers a secondary ignition system where Lion does not. The smoker box for the Blaze grill saves grills space, as it fits under the cooking grids. Also it's much larger. Blaze offers Heat Zone Separators. Stainless Steel plates that fit vertically between each burner to the bottom of the fire box. Great for keeping heat in one zone, makes cooking different items at different temperatures no problem. They are also removable, for when you need one heat zone through out the entire fire box. Blaze does also offer an insulated jacket, for grills and double side burners. Both come on cart or built in Reply

  • Q.

Why doesn’t the Blaze original grills offer grill lights?

    • A.

Lighting is an accessory that adds expense to the manufacturing of the grill. In turn, the customer normally absorbs this cost. The designers at Blaze wanted to offer the best bang for your buck. They decided to pass on some of the accessories that did not affect the performance of the grill. Now Blaze offers their PRO line that has all of the bells and whistles you could want. See it here. You could also install a vent hood above your grill. These hoods contain halogen lighting, for your night time grilling. Reply

  • Q.

How can I clean the inside parts of the blaze grill?

    • A.

Actually maintaining the Blaze is very easy. Most of your drippings will be collected in the Drip Tray, which simply slides out from underneath the grill. Cooking grids, flame tamers and heat zone separators are easily removable and can be hosed clean. Your burners will need some maintaining also. Over time the ports can get clogged. They are very easy to remove and then you can use a pipe cleaner and a can of compressed air to clear those out. I also suggest using a stainless steel cleaner for the outside of the grill to protect it from rain. Reply

  • Q.

Do the blaze grills need electricity?

    • A.

The only electricity needed for the Original Blaze would be for the rotisserie motor. A standard 110v outlet is all that is needed. Reply

  • Q.

Does the blaze grills come with a rotisserie kit?

    • A.

32” and 40” Blaze Grills come with a rotisserie infrared back burner. The rotisserie kit is optional and can be purchased at a modest price. 25” Blaze Grills do not have a rotisserie burner, but the rotisserie kit for the 32” grill can be used with the standard burners. The kit is not a standard because if you do not want a rotisserie kit, why pay for one? The infrared burner it's self is a little more complex and must be installed at the time the grill is built, so it is included. Reply

  • Q.

I see the Blaze grill has a metal system below the cooking grids but it is not the typical “upside down V” as found on a lot of other grill brands? What is the deal here?

    • A.

Great question! This is my favorite part of the Blaze Grill. The durable, easy to clean stainless steel flame taming system on the Blaze Grill really sets it apart from other grills in the same price range, even some of the more expensive grills. Not only is the warranty better, but the flame taming system on the Blaze grill is perforated. This allows passages for heat to rise evenly to your cooking surface. When looking at the traditional “V” shaped flame taming system, there is really no way for heat to rise evenly. The solid metal directly over the burner creates a barrier, blocking heat to rise – generating hot and cold spots, which causes you to shuffle your food from spot to spot trying to find a happy medium. Blaze 32-Inch 4-Burner Built-In Natural Gas Grill With Rear Infrared Burner

Excellent grill. top quality, solid construction.

Wonderful Experience

Everything about the grill is exceptional. The solid construction of each element, from the control knobs to the double-lined hood, coupled with its simple and efficient design makes this grill outstanding. The heat distribution is not perfect, but more than acceptable. And the 64,000 BTUs' generate rapid cooking times. And these people stand behind their product / guarantee. I had an issue with several of my stainless steel grill -- they had warped somewhat -- within days I had received new grills.

Amazing Grill !

Wow, what an amazing grill. It stays really hot, have a perfect control, you can put infrared burner inside... Nothing to tell about it. Perfect BBQ, except the thermometer that doesnt show the temperature, but who care, 99% of thermometer on gas grills aren't accurate, this one is accurate, but you need to learn the temperature because it goes really hot.
