The Skinny:
Unique oval shape means more versatility; compact size works well in small areas; quality ceramics have scratch-restistant glaze.

Things To Love:
The cooking grates are reversible, which means you can flip them over to cook food closer to the coals and get that restaurant quality sear on steaks or chops. They're also split so you can cook on one level on one side and a different level on the other. The Oval Junior is versatile right out of the box, and Primo has a variety of optional accessories for even more cooking versatility. (Primo has awesome accessories that help you get a lot more of out of the grill.) Overall, the construction of the Oval Junior is high quality and it’s built using premium ceramics and protected by a scratch-resistant glaze.

Things To Consider:
The ceramics have a 20-year warranty, but the gasket warranty is 30 days (most people usually have to replace the gasket first). Even though the oval shape is unique and versatile, the Junior has a smaller grilling space than most kamado grills. If you're cooking for a large group of people, you probably won't be able to cook all your food at once.
