Primo Ceramic Advantages
The differences between our ceramic grills and other grills on the market are simple.
1.  Most grills on the market are made out of metal. Metal grills can be defined as being constructed of cast aluminum, stainless steel, cast iron, or porcelain enameled metal. Whether you are cooking on a grill which uses charcoal or gas (natural/propane), a metal grill isn't efficient as it loses heat by radiation.
4. This is why you may have not been able to cook meat, poultry, fish, and vegetables for a long period of time on your grill. Long periods of slow cooking on a metal grill result in a dry piece of chicken, steak, or fish. Furthermore, you aren't able to get all the flavor from your food since oils and fats are being dried out. At odd times you may have experienced burned meat, poultry, fish or vegetables. Since the surface of your food is dry, it becomes vulnerable to charring.

2. Since metal radiates heat, sustaining a constant temperature within a metallic grill demands a bigger heat source than a ceramic grill. This is why a high amount of BTU's are preferable on a gas grill since there is a huge amount of heat loss.

5.  Our ceramic grill doesn't radiate heat through its shell. The Primo Ceramic construction allows heat to stay within the grill. This is mainly done by the composition of our ceramic which acts as an insulator as well as creating an air tight grill/smoker .
3.  High BTU's can only be achieved by using more gas input. Since fuel (gas/charcoal) can only burn with a sufficient amount of air, your metal grill is now "drying" your food. This drying process occurs because there is too much air flowing through your grill in order to burn your gas/coal. 6.  A well insulated grill doesn't experience heat and moisture loss. Our Primo Grills require very little energy to sustain the desired temperature within the cooking area, therefore there isn't as much air needed to burn fuel (gas or Charcoal). Your meat, poultry, fish and vegetables will stay moist and give you their full flavor.
